Prof. Dr. Christian Horneber

Christian successfully completed his doctorate in Entrepeneurship in 2012 and got to know Capnamic a year later when he joined the corporate VC NWZ Digital as an investment manager. For more than six years, he was responsible for the professionalization of the CVC unit as well as numerous portfolio companies and has also been a member of the board of Business Angels Weser-Ems-Bremen since then. In 2019, Christian was appointed Professor of Business Administration and Media Management at Jade University of Applied Sciences. Since joining Capnamic in 2024, he has put his professorship on hold and is active as Managing Partner of the Bremen Fonds.

As a trained former audio engineer, Christian is a music enthusiast and not only "plays" the mixing desk, but also several instruments.
